Xavi warns Barcelona player: “You won’t find happiness at any other team in the world”

Xavi Hernandez, Barcelona coach, warned his team’s midfielder, during the press conference that was held this afternoon, Saturday, in preparation for the match against Getafe tomorrow in the 29th round match of the Spanish Premier League competitions.

Barcelona leads the La Liga standings with 72 points and hopes to maintain the 13-point difference with Real Madrid, which ranks second with 59 points.

And many rumors have been raised in the past few weeks about Jaffe’s intention to leave Barcelona after the club failed to register his new contract with the La Liga League due to problems of fair financial play.

The AS newspaper said that Javi was dissatisfied with the Barcelona administration’s handling of his new contract file and confirmed that his agent held an important meeting with Chelsea club in which he discussed his transfer to Stamford Bridge for free at the end of the current season.

Asked about Javi’s possible departure, Xavi warned his player: “Javi would not be as happy in any other team in the world as he is here. He has it all, he’s a key player at 18 years old. He’s a player who excites me and he’s amazing. His future lies in Barcelona and he won’t be very happy abroad.”
